20% of the proceeds from each shirt will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative (the firm that the book and movie, Just Mercy, was based on). This organization is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United Stated, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society. They also help to educate the community about racial injustice by engaging in conversations about the legacy of racial injustice through groundbreaking reports and interactive websites, lesson plans, and powerful films like Just Mercy and the HBO documentary True Justice that underscore the urgency of reform.
